Legal Documentation

Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully. As a B2B manufacturer, our policies are designed to ensure clarity and quality for our wholesale and OEM/ODM partnerships.

01

Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("Client"), and CeramicSource ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), concerning access to and use of our manufacturing services.

By placing an order or engaging our OEM/ODM services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with all of these terms, you are expressly prohibited from using our services.

02

Wholesale & B2B Only

Important Policy: We are strictly a B2B (Business-to-Business) manufacturer. We do not engage in retail sales to individual consumers.

Our services are tailored for:

  • Global distributors and wholesalers
  • Brand owners requiring OEM/ODM production
  • Corporate entities for promotional merchandise
  • Importers and e-commerce sellers with bulk requirements

We reserve the right to decline orders that do not meet our Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) requirements or appear to be for personal retail use.

03

OEM/ODM & Production

3.1 Customization (OEM/ODM)

For custom projects (including unique shapes, reactive glazes, or decal printing), Clients must provide high-resolution artwork or physical samples. We provide pre-production samples for approval. Production begins only after the Client signs off on the physical sample or digital proof.

3.2 Material Variations

Ceramics are produced via high-temperature kiln firing. Minor variations in shade, glaze texture (especially Reactive Glaze), and size (shrinkage tolerance +/- 3%) are inherent to the manufacturing process and are not considered defects.

3.3 Molds & Tooling

Mold fees are required for custom shapes. These fees may be refundable if the cumulative order quantity reaches a specified volume within 12 months, as agreed upon in the specific sales contract.

04

Payment & Shipping

  • Payment Terms: Standard terms are 30% deposit upon order confirmation and 70% balance before shipment or against Bill of Lading (B/L) copy, unless otherwise stipulated in the contract.
  • Incoterms: We typically quote FOB (Free on Board) Shenzhen or EXW (Ex Works) Liling factory. Shipping costs and insurance after the goods pass the ship's rail (FOB) are the responsibility of the Client.
  • Lead Time: Estimated lead times (usually 30-60 days) commence after deposit receipt and sample approval. Force majeure events may affect these timelines.
05

Quality Assurance & Claims

We adhere to strict quality control standards. Clients are entitled to arrange third-party inspection (e.g., SGS, Intertek) prior to shipment at their own expense.

Breakage Policy: Due to the fragile nature of ceramics, a breakage rate of up to 3% during transit is considered industry standard. Claims exceeding this amount must be reported within 7 days of cargo receipt with photographic evidence.

Compliance: Our products (Decal, Reactive Glaze, etc.) are manufactured to meet FDA and LFGB food safety standards.

06

Intellectual Property

We respect the intellectual property of our clients. All molds, designs, and artwork provided by the Client for OEM manufacturing remain the sole property of the Client. We agree not to sell, display, or distribute Client-owned designs to third parties without express written permission.
